Edvard Ehler teaches human biology, physiology, forensic biology, and topics in evolutionary and molecular anthropology. His research focuses on molecular anthropology, population genomics, and bioinformatics, primarily involving research into ancient DNA from populations in Central Europe. His didactic research focuses on students’ misconceptions and activation methods in teaching topics related to human biology.
